Decadent Monkey Bread
Bake  at 350 for 35 min.
  • 20 of your own biscuits
  • 8 oz mascarpone cheese
  • 1/2 C butter, melted
  • 2/3 C sugar
  • 2/3 C brown sugar
  • 2 T cinnamon
  • 3/4 C raisins
In separate bowl mix together sugars and cinnamon and set aside.
Lightly spray a baking dish or bundt pan.
Make your own biscuits and roll out and cut 20. Place approx 1/2 tsp of mascarpone cheese in middle of each biscuit and fold up around cheese, not enclosing completely. Place half of the biscuits in pan cheese side up. sprinkle half the sugar mixture over the top and half the raisins (can use nuts if you prefer). I pushed some of the raisins into the biscuits. Pour half of the melted butter over the top. Place the other half of the biscuits on top of the first layer, this time cheese side down, sprinkle rest of sugar  mixture and raisins over the top, and drizzle the rest of the melted butter over the top. Bake at 350 for 35 mins. Remove from oven and invert on a plate/serving platter and serve. Ohhhh and ahhhhhhhh sooooooo good. Enjoy.

  • NOTE: I could not find my bundt pan so I used a casserole dish and put a biscuit cutter in the middle then place the filled biscuits around..
